Big changes all around!

From mid-January to mid-June  I took a sabbatical from Ashland and the Center of Chinese Medicine.  While traveling I’d posting updates about my thoughts in a newsletter form, about Chinese medicine as well as travel and plans. If you’d like to read some of this going forward, please get on the newsletter list or send an email.

Now I’m back at the Center, but some big changes are afoot for sure.

I’ll be seeing clients until I leave for Asia (again) on August 22nd.  There are a few scattered openings you can sign up for.  For now I’m not taking new clients except in special cases.

SO WHAT COMES NEXT?

I am honestly not sure when I will return, but I am keeping a treatment room empty to be available at anytime that I would.  If you have followed my newsletter, you will know that Chiang Mai (Thailand) has some pretty bad air pollution starting mid-February for a few months, so likely then and will update this.

While I’m gone I will continue the Tele-health appointments.. This works well for many and drop-shipping the herbs is very easy and cost-effective.   Usually they arrive within 2 days from my suppliers.  There is are 2 clinics also (in Portland and Ashland) that can custom make the Chinese granule formulas according to my specifications so you can pick them up or have them dropped off.

I plan on extending out of this webpage into a bit of social media, with short videos s popping up here by the mid-Fall to Instagram and Facebook.  Stay tuned!

Dr. Ken Bendat
ABOUT KEN

Ken has over 35 years of continuous experience as a licensed practitioner and acupuncturist helping people like you with all kinds of conditions in a holistic manner.

Acupuncture and herbs are used to treat a wide variety of health conditions. Acute and chronic pain are addressed with very gentle needle technique, with protocol uniquely adapted to each client. Immune disorders, allergies, infertility, fatigue, insomnia, respiratory, digestive, and a wide range of metabolic and hormonal issues are also treated with knowledge and experience. These are diagnosed through the ‘lens’ of the classical Chinese tradition and then treated in a safe and effective manner.

Ken Bendat’s practice has a strong focus on treating difficult to treat conditions that often don’t respond well to other modalities. Ken has the ability to take what seems to be your complicated and difficult health situation and address the patterns beneath to allow for the fundamental healing force to take precedence. Many clients who have found their original situation resolved now come seasonally for “tuneups” to stay in balance – as Chinese medicine is at it’s best as a primary medicine and resource for staying healthy.
